Jenny Lagsten

Jenny is an assistant professor of information Systems at Örebro University School of Business and previously the head of informatics department at Örebro University. She has been researching and teaching information systems in organizations for 20 years. Her fields of expertise are method development, information systems evaluation, and public sector innovation.

Jenny has extensive experience from action research projects in public sector organizations (social welfare services, healthcare organizations and other public agencies) where the research focus has been on organizational development through IT in parallel with developing theoretical results. She has had several evaluation commissions and evaluated information systems, projects, tools for business development, and IT Governance practices. Jenny holds a PhD in Information Systems Development from Linköping University, Sweden.
