Welcome to the first Nordic ICT4D Fair!

We welcome everyone working with the application, evaluation and theorising of ICT for development.

The Fair will provide a forum for ICT4D enthusiasts in the Nordic region to network, share experiences and innovate, working with ICT in developing contexts. Participants will be able share their experiences from previous work, to strengthen current projects.

Why?

The Nordic region has a long history of developing and working with ICTs and the purpose of this event is to build networks that will allow for collaboration. Nordic actors working with ICTs in developing regions could benefit from a network for:

Improved aid effectiveness through resource sharing
Increase the effect of ICT4D by sharing knowledge
Strengthen ICT4D as a method for social transformation

How?

The ICT4D fair will be two days of sessions where participants will interact in a number of ways:

Host workshops
Host plenary sessions
Participate in lessons learned forums
Present research findings
Exhibit work, product or organisation
